Holi is one of the greatest festivals of Hindus. Holi is the festival of colours and joy. It reminds us numerous scenes viz., rubbibg gulal on each others face, sharp flow from Pitchkari, coloring air with powdery gulal, spread of rang from faces to fences, eating and feeding mithais and gujiya, voicing ‘Bura Na Mano Holi Hai’ in loud tone and gulping glasses of thandai from time to time. This year, the colorful festival of Holi will start from 19th of March 2011 and will continue for 2 days until Sunday, the 20th of March 2011.
